Looking to Visit Trinity Bible Church?

(We’d love you to!)

located at the corner of 35th Ave and Peoria Ave in Phoenix, AZ

We hope this gives you a taste of who we are and who we hope to be. Until the day Christ comes back for us, there will inevitably be some distance between the two. Between now and then, Christians daily engage in God-‐glorifying, Spirit-‐driven, Christ-‐centered worship in all of life. And, the Scriptures teach that there is uniqueness to gathering regularly together with other believers to worship God and edify one another. In Colossians, Paul says, “Him [Christ] we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me” (Col 1:28-29).

Paul’s vision of God’s energy working through him to “present everyone mature in Christ” is compelling. In fact, Trinity envisions herself as pursuing gospel maturity that invites others to follow. We believe the local church, God’s people visibly gathered together around the preaching of the Word and ordinances, is God’s intended instrument for drawing people closer to himself for his glory and our happiness. This vision educates our lives together, and we pray that if you visit us, you will want to join us in locking arms together to reach Phoenix and beyond with the gospel as we ourselves become a more vibrant display of his glory.

Sunday Service

Worship Service
10:30AM in the Worship Center

We gather on Sunday mornings in the Worship Center at 10:30 a.m.  Usually we open with a preservice song at 10:25 a.m. Trinity organizes services around the text we preach on Sunday mornings; all of the prayers, Scripture readings, and songs intend to helpprepare hearts to consider the truths of God in Christ that flow from that mornings Scripture text. Though we sometimes preach topically, our major diet of preaching consists of going through entire books of the Bible. You can expect music that ranges from traditional hymns to contemporary music. As far as the feel of the congregation, we are a diverse group of people centered around the gospel. In fact we believe, that our diversity points to the centrality of the gospel, which tears down walls of hostility and unites us in Christ. Come join us on Sunday!

On Sunday mornings we have a separate nursery for both age groups located within the Worship Center to allow quick access to your children. Our Infant Nursery is equipped with a nursing room, a crib room for sleeping babies as well as a wide variety of age appropriate games and learning activities. The Toddler Nursery provides an exciting environment with an indoor slide and loft and scheduled lessons and activities that introduce children to the most basic building blocks of the Christian faith. Both nurseries are available from 8:45am–12:15pm to allow parents and guardians the freedom to visit one of our Sunday classes and attend the worship service.

Preschool Sunday School

Children between the ages of 30 months – Kindergarten are invited to our Preschool Sunday School. The children are divided into two age groups. In one group our 2½ and 3 year olds meet and the other group is for our 4 year olds, 5 year olds and Kindergarten-aged children. We offer a rotational Sunday School model where children move through a variety of learning and fellowship environments. The stations promote bible memory verses, bible memory songs, bible lessons derived from Desiring God curriculum, snacks, a secured outdoor playground time and various crafts. The preschool nursery classes are located on the Upper Level of the Education Center during Sunday Classes and the Worship Service.

Elementary Sunday

School The Lower Level of the Education Center is where our elementary-‐aged children gather for Sunday School and fellowship at the Port of Praise. All of our morning activities are geared towards helping your child love Jesus. God reveals his Son through the Bible with the help of the Holy Spirit. So, we try to begin giving our little ones big visions of God’s glory as soon as possible through our Sunday morning activities. Beginning at 8:45am, the doors to this area are opened so that the children can come down and play. This area includes a secured grassy play area and a Parent Welcome Center. We use Desiring God curriculum from 9 am-‐10:15 am in a traditional Sunday School setting with the same teachers each week. Our curriculum follows children from 30 months-‐6th grade progressively teaching them the Word of God. From 10:30 am-‐12 pm , 1st-‐6th grades are invited to either come to the service with the children’s ministry or they can sit with their parents or guardian. At 10:45 the children are dismissed to go to Port of Praise, where they will have a Bible lesson that mirrors the Sunday School lesson, games, snacks, and other fun activities meant to help them consider God’s Word.
