God created men to bring him glory! We know that you need a “band of brothers” to help you do this in marriage, singleness, parenting, work, friendship, and the church. We encourage men to engage themselves in God’s passion for
his church first and foremost as the practical display of the love of Christ. So, we ask men to be faithful in attending services and to be vigilant in looking for ways to love our body with a servant’s heart.
We know that men also need other contexts through which they can develop deeper bonds to “encourage men to courageously stand together to become the men God designed us to be.” Those contexts include small groups that meet at various locations, days, and times across the northwest valley. Periodically we also host breakfasts or simply take a “guys night” and go spend time hiking, playing pool, or pursuing some other activity that creates a fun environment to get to know how Christ is at work in our lives. Trinity likes to use our hands for the glory of God. Our men regularly get crews together for construction or service projects at the church or in the community.
We typically host an annual men’s retreat and sometimes attend additional conferences focused on helping men learn to make Christ great in their lives. Previous conferences include the Rescuing Ambition Conference led by the author of the book that carries the same title,Dave Harvey. Dr. Bill Kynes led our men through a series entitled “Is This It?” for our annual retreat.
